She has over ten years of contracted public work experience specializing in policy development, program delivery to disadvantaged communities, and minority contracting procedures. She has assisted in the development of a number of inclusion programs developed to increase employment and contracting opportunities for minorities, women, and other disadvantaged populations.
Zola worked with City Officials and Legal representatives in the development of a local hire legislative policy in the City of Cincinnati. Additionally, that experience inspired her to develop what is now known as iworkbank/JobLink, a cloud-based Software Service Application system that links employment opportunities to targeted community groups enabling increased employment opportunities, increased tax bases and decreased unemployment in disadvantaged communities. This system is currently utilized in multiple metropolitan municipalities undergoing massive infrastructure economic development initiates. It is nationally recognized as a best practice model.
She is the founder of the Center for Economic Transparency, a program developed under her non-profit organization, which was developed to measure the impact of public spending and the effects of that spending on the communities they serve.
